Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue E. Taylor, an American producer and actor, is known for playing in the feature film Ray Undercover Brother as well as on The Mentalist. She earned an B.A. in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting at Tisch School at New York University. Aunjanue is an American actor also known as producer and director. She is employed in film and television. Aunjanue. Ellis began her acting in theatre. Later, she appeared in television programs in independent as well as mainstream films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. After that, she was able to make an appearance in BET's epic TV series The Book of Negroes. In 1995 she was the first actress to make her debut on stage in The Tempest as Ariel. Her credits on stage include the Broadway show of the Joe Turner musical Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. The most recognizable part of her career is her roles in the films Men of Honor as well as The Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. Her part as a character in ABC's drama-police series High Incident earned her praises.
